  1. Download and open the Included Health app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
  2. Open the app and tap on the “I’m new here” button on the home screen.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to input your basic information, such as email, name, date of birth, and contact details.
  4. When asked to check if you’re covered for Included Health, search for and select “CalPERS” from the menu.

The Diabetes Prevention Program is a 12-month program designed to help you lose extra weight and prevent or delay the onset of type 2 diabetes. Members who are eligible and sign up for the program can get a Fitbit, digital scale, and health coaching at no additional cost. All programs adhere to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention curriculum.
