Important Update to the 2027 Health Benefit Summary
We updated the 2027 Health Benefit Summary on September 23, 2026 to reflect a few changes:
- Page 8 - Monterey County was removed from the service area for the Anthem Blue Cross Select HMO Basic plan.
- Page 8 - Monterey County was added to the service area for the Blue Shield EPO Basic plan.
- Page 12 - The cost for Hospital Benefits for Outpatient Facility/Surgery Services under the Sutter Health Plan HMO changed from "No Charge" to "$15."
The Health Benefit Summary is updated each fall to reflect changes effective the first of the following year.
