Retirement
Active Members
Be sure to review your beneficiary designation. If you need to make changes, log in to your myCalPERS account to make changes online or complete the Pre-Retirement Lump Sum Beneficiary Designation (PDF) form.
If you took a Leave of Absence, you had authorization from your employer to be absent from some or all of your duties (leave types include maternity or paternity, temporary disability, sabbatical, etc.). You may be able to purchase service credit for this time. To learn more, review your service credit Purchase Options.
Retirees
