Purpose

The purpose of this Circular Letter is to inform you of the upcoming changes to the myCalPERS Log In. The new technology system is scheduled to be implemented May 11, 2024.

What Will Change for You?

The California Public Employees’ Retirement System (CalPERS) is making improvements to the login experience, focusing on the site's appearance and user identification.

  • Site redesign: We are excited to announce a new look and feel for the myCalPERS platform. The redesign will improve user navigation and provide a more intuitive and streamlined experience for both business partners and members.
  • Unified user identification: One of the notable changes is the elimination of the distinction between business partners and members during the login process. You’ll no longer need to identify as a business partner or a member, simplifying the authentication process and making it more user-friendly.
  • Streamlined sign up and log in: Users will no longer see the security image and message.
