Employer Certification Service Credit Purchase Types |
With the recent change to employer certification of an employee’s request to purchase service credit online, we have expanded this feature to include other types of service credit purchases. For example, employer certification for purchasing service while on a leave of absence can now be certified through the Member Requests tab under Reporting in myCalPERS. In addition to requests to purchase leave of absences, the following service credit purchase types must also be certified through the Member Requests tab:
Employers will be notified of certification requests in the Member Requests tab. If the certification is not completed within 30 days, the request will expire. |
