Enhanced Retirement Enrollment Process for Retired Annuitants and Certificated Employees

The myCalPERS retirement enrollment process will now require employers to provide additional information for these retirement appointments.

Retired Annuitants: Indicate the following information:

  • Retired annuitant type
  • Retired annuitant subject to 180-day exception

Additional changes include:

  • Modify the Retired Annuitant Hours Worked Report Cognos report
  • Reflect appointment type as Retired Annuitant on the Person Information Summary screen

Certificated Employees (schools only): Indicate if the employee is a Certified employee per Government Code 20636.1.

Improvements in Viewing Payroll Records

Functionality has been added to the View Payroll Records screen allowing employers to:

  • Search by rate plan
  • Retain a preferred view of the View Payroll Records screen - when returning from the Maintain Payroll Records screen
  • View earnings and special compensation in the Records Present in the Report panel
