Employment Certification Functionality

Employers can now use myCalPERS to submit electronic employment certifications for service credit purchase requests and employment information requests for membership reviews. Refer to Circular Letter 200-042-20 for more information.

Overview

  • Log in to myCalPERS to access the file readiness test environment.
  • Our technical resources consist of documents and tools needed to develop XML files for reporting.
  • To conduct business through myCalPERS, your organization must designate a system access administrator to assign and reset usernames and passwords, change access roles, and lock rights to the system.
  • We help you learn to use myCalPERS through Employer Training Classes.
  • Within myCalPERS, you can use the Cognos application to query your agency's data and generate reports.
