CalPERS | Retirement Enrollment | Zero Payroll Automatic Separation | Business partners (BPs) will receive notification letters after three consecutive months of zero payroll reporting for active members. Additional notifications will be sent to both the BP and member at six and 12 months if zero payroll reporting continues. After 12 consecutive months of zero payroll reporting for an active member, myCalPERS will automatically process a separation. Dates of, and reasons for, completed and potential automatic separations can be found in the Automatic Permanent Separation – Completed Appointments Report or Automatic Permanent Separation – Potential Appointments Report, respectively. |
