| "Normal" Retirement Age in myCalPERS | myCalPERS will display the “normal" retirement age (from the member's retirement benefit formula) of active and inactive members and retirees. If a member has two retirement formulas, the formula with the higher age will be used. For example: The normal retirement age for a member with the 2% at 55 benefit formula would be age 55. If the member has more than one retirement benefit formula, the normal retirement age would be their maximum formula retirement age – up to age 62. The following letters have been updated to include a notation regarding normal retirement age:

| Payroll Reporting Validation for Adjustment Records | A new payroll validation will prevent business partner's from posting an adjustment record as the first record when manually creating an Earned Period report. |

| Payroll Validation for New Record Payroll Schedule | A new validation will ensure payroll at a record level is posted to the correct payroll schedule if multiple schedules are found for the same business partner. The user is required to identify the payroll schedule at a record level before processing the record. |

| Health Enrollment File (IA50031) – Error Messages and Provider Field Updates | For business partners who utilize the IA50031 Health Enrollment file to submit health enrollment transactions, the following enhancements have been made:

| Updates to the Dependent Eligibility Verification (DEV) Forms | The DEV forms have been updated to better align with the process and verbiage on the CalPERS website. |

| Enhanced Guest Health Plan Search by ZIP Code Tool | The Guest Health Plan Search by ZIP Code tool now allows all agencies and their employees to include a doctor or specialist in their health plan search on the CalPERS website without having to log in to myCalPERS. This allows anyone, including prospective employers and members, to see what CalPERS health plans their doctor accepts. Additionally, public agencies may use this tool to make a more informed decision when deciding whether to contract with CalPERS for health benefits. |
