Classes & Webinars for Employers

We offer classes and webinars designed to help you confidently navigate CalPERS’ processes and successfully conduct business with us.

Complete Training Based on Your Role

You’ve been assigned a contact type based on your role within your agency. CalPERS uses this contact type to classify your job responsibilities. Use your assigned contact type to find which classes and webinars you need to complete and the order in which to complete them. This helps you stay on track and ensure you complete all training at the right time.

Easily verify your contact type: Log in to your agency’s myCalPERS account, select the Profile tab, and navigate to the Contacts section, or contact your system access administrator

Get Started

Select your contact type to find:

  • A list of recommended classes and webinars
  • The order in which to complete them
  • Training format (in-person, virtual, or self-paced online)
  • Supplemental guides and resources

Note: If your employer has a health contract, complete the health-related classes; otherwise, proceed to the next recommended class in the series.
