Registration open for April 29 event on the CalPERS campus

SACRAMENTO, CA - The California Public Employees' Retirement System (CalPERS) Information Technology Services Branch is hosting an IT Career Fair to inform attendees about technology-related job opportunities at CalPERS.

The IT Career Fair will take place on Saturday, April 29, 2017, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the CalPERS Lincoln Plaza West Atrium at 400 Q Street in Sacramento. Registration for the event is open and is strongly encouraged.

CalPERS has recruited for more than 240 vacant IT positions during the past two years. With a continuous need to fill open positions, the IT Career Fair provides an opportunity for technology professionals and college graduates to learn about what CalPERS has to offer.

Prospective applicants of all skill levels will have the opportunity to interact with IT hiring managers, meet with human resources managers to learn about the state hiring process, and take state eligibility exams. Session topics will include conversations with the chief information officer and applying for jobs at CalPERS as well as technology-specific subject areas such as desktop services and support, cybersecurity, and my|CalPERS, the CalPERS online platform.
