SACRAMENTO, CA - The California Public Employees' Retirement System (CalPERS) officially launched its search for a new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead and manage the pension fund, health benefit programs and its 2,700 employees.

The CEO of CalPERS is the leader of a highly visible and complex government organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the organization achieves the strategic objectives established by the Board of Administration, while cultivating a high performing, risk intelligent, collaborative, and innovative culture.
