Enhance Retirement Enrollment Process list

The Retirement Enrollment Pre-processing page has been updated to allow employers that submit retirement enrollments via XML to:

  • Search by event date range or division (if applicable)
  • Display the division name in Retirement Enrollment panel
  • Added a Return to Pre-Processing link for users when they are on the Appointment Details or Appointment Change pages. Link is at the bottom of the page next to the Save button.

New Stop Payroll Deduction form and notification

When an employee’s Service Credit Purchase (SCP) payroll deduction schedule is within 30 days of completion, the new Stop Payroll Deduction form (myCalPERS 2917) will be generated to the business partner’s Document History.

The business partner will be notified via email about the upcoming action to stop the SCP deduction and be directed to review the form in Document History for more details. Email notification will be sent to:

  • Primary payroll contact (or any payroll contact if no primary)
  • If no payroll contact then primary human resources contact (or any human resources contact if no primary)
  • If no human resources contact then primary general contact (or any general contact if no primary)
  • Public Agencies
  • Schools
  • Health
  • Health

Active State Employee Health Enrollments via myCalPERS

myCalPERS now allows state active members (excluding CSU) to make changes to their health enrollment based on qualifying life events, including the ability to upload supporting documentation. This enhancement eliminates the need to submit hard copy enrollment forms to their personnel office and reduces manual intervention.
