The CalPERS Supplemental Income 457 Plan is for employees of participating public agencies and schools. Plan for a secure financial future - save a portion of your salary and invest it in your choice of investment options. If your employer offers it, you may choose a Self-Managed Account option that gives you even greater investment selection.

Your current taxable income is reduced by the amount you save on a before-tax basis, lowering your tax bill. Your earnings are automatically reinvested before taxes, which makes your savings grow even faster.
