Emerging Manager & Financial Service Provider Database

CalPERS and CalSTRS have teamed up to develop a comprehensive database of emerging managers and financial service providers.

The purpose of the database is to capture the universe of emerging financial service firms, create an industry reference guide, promote information transparency, and broaden the opportunities for adding value to institutional investors' portfolios from a largely untapped pool of talent.

The database includes information on more than 1400 investment firms, including money managers, private equity funds, private equity fund of funds, private real estate investments firms, REITs, hedge funds, hedge fund of funds, and broker dealers.

The database was developed by Altura Capital and is located off the home page of the Altura Capital Web site.
