Human Resources Division

The Human Resources Division recruits, trains, evaluates, promotes and retains a high-quality work force. The division manages an extensive examination and recruitment program, determines appropriate position classification and compensation levels, administers employee benefits, and provides ongoing management advice and consultation concerning human resource issues. This division also oversees the CalPERS Employee Assistance Program, Employee Relations, Recognition, Safety, Wellness, and Return to Work programs.
