2014 Board Member Election

An election is being held to fill the state and public agency member representatives for the CalPERS Board of Administration. The term of the incumbents, George Diehr (State) and Priya Sara Mathur (public agency), will expire on January 15, 2015. The new term of office will begin on January 16, 2015, and run through January 15, 2019.

The election for the school board member representative seat will not be conducted because the incumbent, Rob Feckner, was unopposed. Rob Feckner will serve a four-year term of office beginning January 16, 2015, and continuing through January 15, 2019.

You are eligible to vote in this election if you are a CalPERS member active as of July 1, 2014. A ballot package will be mailed to your home address on August 29, 2014, and you can vote for a candidate through September 29, 2014.

If a candidate does not receive a majority vote in the initial election, a runoff election will be conducted between the two candidates who received the highest number of votes. If you are a CalPERS member active as of October 1, 2014, you are eligible to vote in the runoff election. A runoff ballot package will be sent to your home address on November 7, 2014, and you can vote for a candidate through December 8, 2014.
