Business Partners Not Affected by IOUs
Our vendors and contractors who are owed money will not be affected by the State’s plan to issue IOUs to pay state bills. CalPERS is a special fund agency and is not affected by the State’s General Fund cash shortage. Our vendors, contractors, investment managers, and health plans will continue to receive regular payments as in the past.

2010 Health Rates Approved
The CalPERS Board approved an overall 2.9 percent increase in health care premiums for next year - the lowest increase achieved in our health program in 14 years. Read more about it in our press release.
